Exclusive: Raya and the Last Dragon to be available to all Disney+ subscribers 8 June 2021 [UPDATED]
What a way to kick off the rebrand, I've just uncovered some information that states that the Premier Access title on Disney+, Raya and the Last Dragon, will be available for free for all subscribers of Disney+ on 8 June 2021 after its 5 March premium debut on the service.
If anyone from Disney is reading this, or if you wish to find out for yourself, this is all publicly available information from the source code of the site. We just happened to be the first ones to ever report this.
Interestingly, this day is a Tuesday, which is definitely another day that Disney+ seems to like (their huge launches have all been on a Tuesday). I hypothesised last week that we would get an announcement that Hong Kong and South Korea will launch in early June and, with Raya confirmed for that date, this seems pretty likely.
Either way, this is exciting news and I'd love to hear what you think about it. Follow me and Josh on Twitter and let's chat! Let's see if Disney confirms this officially... In the meantime, if you like these types of drops, we try our best to find out information from the source and, with rumours of Black Widow coming to Disney+, it's a matter of time before we get another drop. Stay tuned.
As of 21:22 on 31 January 2021, Disney has removed the reference to the 8 June date in their code. Whoops.
